1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Supercut ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Supercut is a browser-based AI video editing tool. All video processing happens locally on your device. The Service provides an AI chat interface that translates your natural language requests into video editing operations executed in your browser.

3. Free and Paid Plans

Free tier: Anonymous and signed-in users may process a limited number of videos for free. The free tier is subject to change.

Paid plans: We offer yearly subscription and lifetime access plans. Pricing and features are as displayed at the time of purchase.

Cancellation: Yearly subscriptions can be canceled at any time. You will retain access until the end of your current billing period. Lifetime plans are non-recurring one-time payments.

Refunds: If you are unsatisfied, contact us within 7 days of purchase for a full refund. The full refund policy sets out how to ask, how long the money takes to arrive, and how cancelling differs from refunding.

4. Content Ownership

You retain full ownership of all videos you upload, edit, and export using Supercut. Since your videos are processed locally and never uploaded to our servers, we have no access to or rights over your content.

5. Acceptable Use

No adult content. Supercut does not support adult content. You must not use the Service to create, edit, process or export pornographic, sexually explicit or nudity-related material, and no adult video editing service is offered on this website or in the app. This applies to the free tier and to every paid plan.

You agree not to:

Use the Service to process pornographic, sexually explicit or nudity-related material
Use the Service to process content that violates any applicable laws
Use the Service to process material involving minors, non-consensual acts, or content that sexualises any person
Attempt to abuse, overload, or exploit the AI chat service
Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of proprietary components
Use automated tools to scrape or abuse the Service

These are conditions of use that you accept, and we close accounts that breach them. They are not a filter applied to your files: every edit runs on your own device and your footage never reaches our servers, so we have no copy of it to inspect. Responsibility for what you process rests with you.

6. Limitation of Liability

Supercut is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from the use of the Service, including but not limited to data loss, processing errors, or service interruptions. Since video processing occurs locally on your device, we cannot be held responsible for issues related to your device's performance or compatibility.

7. Service Availability

We strive to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
