For product demo videos

A demo is usually needed today, not next sprint. Supercut records your screen, microphone, and camera in one take, drops the result onto the Studio timeline with a backdrop and zooms already applied, and exports a 4K mp4 for the site or a GIF for the changelog. The build on your screen never leaves your machine.

  • Record screen, microphone, and camera in one take, as three separate tracks
  • The camera is never composited in, so the bubble stays movable and removable after the take
  • On the macOS desktop app, zooms are anchored to the places you clicked
  • The take lands on the timeline with the demo look already on it, ready to trim
  • Export a 4K mp4 for a landing page or a GIF for a changelog post
  • Pre-release builds stay on your device, there is no upload and no watermark

FAQ

Do I need to install anything to record a demo?

No. The browser recorder works in Chrome, Edge, Brave, and Arc with nothing to install. The desktop app adds full system audio, cursor tracking, and the click-anchored zooms that come from it.

Can it zoom in on the part of the UI I am talking about?

On the macOS desktop app it samples your cursor and your clicks while you record, then places the push-ins for you, and you can edit or delete any of them afterwards. In the browser there is no way to track the cursor outside the page, so you place the zooms yourself on the timeline.

Is my unreleased product safe?

The recording is captured, edited, and exported on your device. There is no server copy and no share link, so a pre-release build is never uploaded anywhere.

Can I get a GIF for the changelog as well?

Yes. Studio exports the same timeline as an mp4 or a GIF, so the two can never disagree about the edit.
